Oh, it was again all the best! The German Swooping Open 2007 in Fehrbellin. Even though the weather was "suboptimal," the the big swoop contest was fully implemented and still had us all excited.

The spectacular images of the competition will be available certainly within the next few days at www.funjump.de and/or at www.swooping.de. As I was responsible for the video movie of the GSO in 2007, but really was no replacement pilot for me available, Uwe Reichert from TakeOff took our D-FUNK on Saturday, first flown in Itzehoe. Well, what is a good idea? Since the jumpers of YUU-Skydive wanted to participate in the Saturday's party, the D-Funk came on Saturday evening for a JumpInn to Fehrbellin.

The two caravan beauties of the evening presented a wonderful backdrop for a truly exceptional Party, which lasted into the late hours of the morning and demanded also the last dance muffle to get on the dance floor. In October there will be a reunion for the D-FUMP and the D-FUNK. Then both aircrafts will fly the end-ofseason scramble competition at TakeOff in Fehrbellin.

By the way: The Funky Caravan since April has flown properly and must therefore much earlier than expected to the first 100 hours maintenance control. Restrictions in flight operations but did not indicate the date of the shipyard will take place shortly, and during the week.
