If not already earned, the first step is the training for the CessnaSET (Single Engine Turbine) rating, which can be carried out in our own ATO. This means that the position as First Officer is also suitable for career starters.
The subsequent area of deployment varies and initially includes passenger and cargo flights as a Crew Member FO throughout Europe. After approximately 6 months, the advanced training to Commander on the C208/C208B begins. The final appointment as Commander takes place in each area of operations if the candidate is suitable, first for specialised flight operations and then also for commercial passenger and cargo operations.
Depending on the mission, they are then flown "single-pilot" or as crew. The "home base" is the Itzehoe airfield (EDHF/IZE). A place of residence in the vicinity (call-out time max 1 hr) would be an advantage and enables stand-by times to be spent at the place of residence.
